Thought this was a neat interview. We already knew most of what was said, but still a good read.

The combat is turn-based (Yay! I prefer turn-based combat). Says the ps3 version was delayed "mainly" because of development issues. Talks about how the Remnants are different for everyone and that at the end of the game, most will interpret/understand them differently--compares them to water. Also hopes this is not the last The Last Remnant--would like it to do well enough to continue on with in the future.

Why is it that only UE3.0 multiplats get delayed for the ps3? CoD4, DMC4, Burnout Paradise, etc. were all fine.

I don't know...but it sorta ticks me off. I would rather play the jrpg's on my ps3 because I'm use to playing them on a Sony console. But on the other hand, why should we be "punished" by having to wait longer to play the damn game on our ps3's....So, I'll most likely just get it on my 360 unless they announce something "special" ahead of time for the ps3 version. I'm dying for a JRPG...I can't wait much longer.

Lol, Lost Odyessy helped ease the hunger...but I feel it gnawing again.  Valkyria Chronicles should be good even though I'm not a big srpg fan.

I was shocked when I heard the delay of The Last Remnant on PS3. I really want to play this game....

Don't forget Disgaea 3 (although it's a SRPG), 4 milllion hours' game play!

I have a feeling Infinite Undiscovery and Tales of Vesperia will get released around the same time as The Last Remnant in NA. White Knight Chronicles may get worldwide simultaneous release around that time too. They should keep you busy for quite awhile. Or, you should just join the VGChartz LBP league and have fun with us :)

The Last Remnant looks very interesting and seems to be a little different from the typical JRPGs

They probably accepted some money from microsoft in the knowledge that the ps3 game was going to be delayed anyway. Thats what I would have done at least :P

 well... if that were the case it would be more like MS paying to release when they finish the 360 version instead of releasing side by side... (same thing as timed exclusive but different wording)
