My real reason are: it's 1000 US dollars here, and that it can't be modded. And there's not enough games that I would want to play on it.

And I have a Wii, and 360 looks like a safer purchase (Not for durability, RROD is the worst shit ever) but because of upcoming games and cause it's cheaper and can be modded.

I need to mod, cause games here are around 100 dollars and this is a 3rd world country come on.

For buying a console, I always see at the number of games I am interested to get. So far, there are 8 games I like for the Wii, 3 games I like for the X360 and...well none for the PS3. ..at least so far.

 They pissed me too, but most of the games i like are ps3 exclusive, anyway i don’t have a ps3 because here it cost me US$1000 and that is a serious amount, i have been saving from launch and still don’t have the money. Another factor is the uncertain future of the console. Sony is arrogance even made many developers draw away their support from the ps3; also the games i like are not out yet.

i sold mine because none of my friends had it so i got a 360. plus tbh the first resistance sucked cock, and 2 doesnt excite me as much as gears of war 2. i will buy back my ps3 when they improve the online and my friends get it. playing by yourself is boaring

hey those are my exact words, are you copying me, j/k i have the same problem sony shutout the entire Latin America with that  US$600 price tag at launch. It is impossible to buy a ps3(this could take 2 years to pay), everyone is buying wiis instead ,is so small that a relative can bring it in a purse without paying taxes, which is impossible for the ps3, making the wii a US$275 purchase that is reasonable, although we all dream with having a ps3 like the rich kids.  i think there is a big market here, i mean i hope Americas data includes Latin America, am not sure but there are lots of gamers here i think. 

1.- I already have a Wii.

2.- I already have a PC.

3.- Combine the above two reasons, and the PS3 has nothing new to offer me.

4.- I don't think it's worth the price.

5.- Games are expensive.

6.- I hate the Dual Shock.

7.- I consider it big and ugly.

8.- I hate Sony.
