The GC is the only Nintendo console I skipped. No idea how it happened. I even have a Game Boy Light, a Game Boy Micro, and a Virtual Boy.

it sits under my bed, next to my xbox

Darn. I thought this thread was for me.

I more or less missed the last generation. Just played a few games at friends houses. So I very much enjoy taking full advantage of the Gamecube functionality of my Wii. I'm still poking through used game bins looking for the gems of last gen.

I didn't have a Gamecube but my sister did and I have no clue where it is. I suppose we should lend it to a cousin who doesn't have a video games system.

How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

This is crazy...let me tell you how I got a Gamecube.

I was so f*cking pissed off that I couldn't find a Wii, so I needed a Nintendo console in my house so that I can feel that I'm close to getting a Wii. So the Gamecube fit the picture.

I went and bought one at GameStop for $30 and bought Star Fox Adventures and Luigi's Mansion.

Both awesome games, after playing sometime with those I clearly passed the Gamecube down to my two little sisters. They play it every now and then.

But since I recently bought a Wii a couple of days ago. It's been Wii, Wii, Wii, no more Gamecube.

But to tell you on topic, its in my sisters room on their dresser :D

My Gamecube used to be in the same place, on the dresser in my sister's room. When I had to send in my Wii ti get repaired for 5 days, I had to go back to the GameCube for a while to play Fire Emblem, Paper Mario:TTYD,and Madden 07. Ever since I got my Wii back, I just use the GCube for the GameBoy Player to face my brother in YuGiOh. He uses the SP.

Sold my Cube and most of my games on ebay (hence my shitty collection) and bought a Wii with the money.

Pacman taught people to run around in dark rooms munching on pills while listening to repettive techno music and for that I somewhat idolise him.

I traded my Gamecube in when the DS lite was released. I traded it in with ten games, my old DS, a Gameboy SP, and five GB games. I got the new DS Lite, two DS games, and about $120 leftover credit.

I haven't played a single GC game on my Wii (unless you count Zelda: TP and Super Paper Mario...zing!).

My End of 2008 Hardware Predictions (console only):
