I have been a guitar hero fan since the first game. But since harmonix left I don't like the direction the franchise is going. It is suppose to be about playing guitar not drums and why should they add a mic.I think I will buy rockband and stop buying any future guitar hero games,it's obvious activision is just milking the franchise. I expect every future game to start declining on score and start becoming repetitive and a new installment each year.I am really dissapointed with the direction guitar hero is following =(

You are so upset that Guitar Hero included drums and a mic you are going to buy Rock Band...

That has to be the worst logic I have ever seen. Clearly you are just being blindly loyal to a developer. That is not a bad thing, but call a duck a duck. There is no good reason to bash Guitar Hero having more instruments while praising Rock Band having more.

He's changed his mind... But I think he was against "Copying", but If you read my earliear post (3 up) it's even more ironic.

Well guitar hero was suppose to be about playing guitar while rockband is suppose to be about multiple instruments but anyways I am still buiynhg GH4.

How about adding piano, violin, and trumpet in the sequel named Orchestra Hero?

Don't even joke like that... Ughl...

Considering the DLC for Rock Band, I think I'll stay with them. Guitar Hero 3 has had utter trash compared to RB.

Rock Band is upto what? 100 downloadable songs now? By the time GH4 comes out, Rock Band should have over 200 downloadable songs.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Maybe the DLC is better on Rock Band than it is on GHIII, but that doesn't mean it will be better than the DLC on GHIV. Besides, for Wii owners the DLC on GHIV will be a million times better than the add-on discs for Rock Band Wii. That's a lot of potential buyers right there.

Activision is trying to make GHIV bigger than RB in every way, I doubt they will give us a lackluster DLC like they did for GHIII.

What's the problem with making fun of the way a game is heading?

Out of curiosity why are they mutually exclusive in your mind?

Perhaps this is just my perspective but if the DLC is of great enough importance that a good selection is important to you then why not get both and have the most choices possible?

Its your choice obviously I was just curious where you were coming from.

Personally I doubt I will use the DLC very much even if they add external storage of some kind, they will have to be very reasonably priced for me to even consider it. So that isn't really a big consideration for me.  Honestly, the biggest reason I was going to get Rock Band before but won't now is the drum set for GH4 looks better....I may still get Rock Band tbh..but its not the "for certain" purchase it was before.

To Each Man, Responsibility

This game going to own the wii. I know the 360 and PS3 rockband has DLC but the wii's doesnt it doesnt even have world tour or character customation. Since the announcement of GH4 Im not going to even think about getting rockband and most wii owners feel the same. I can bet a whole lot that this game will sell the most for wii
