That is insane, looks like the perfect ending, lol, barely just barely by 1 unit!

Worst graph I've seen in my entire life, I'd like to see how PS3 would be able to sell 30 million units in 1 year "lawl"

I'm assuming you never seen this graph before then....

Good old SDF with their December prediction..

Former something....

According to this, the PS3 will hit ~23 mil by the end of this year. Consider that its only at ~12 mil now, almost halfway through the year. So they'll have to sell ~11 mil in 7 months or around 1.6 mil per month.

I suppose that's possible...but unlikely.

So they expect 24 million for PS3 at the end of 2008 even though Sony themselves will only have produced 20 million?

Wow. We get on analysts who thinks several million Wii's will disappear in 2010-2011 and another one who thinks Sony can sell 4 million more PS3's in 2008 than they plan to actually produce.

What math classes are required to become an analyst?

I prefer predictions with negative sales. This graph will be even better when the Wii passes the forcasted lifetime peak sometime around the end of the year.

So, Billy Pidgeon goes by the screen name CrazzyMan on VG, right?

Not sure. Would he have given the Wii even that much?

Sure, because that's the end of wii's lifespan. It seems like a lot, but it's really nothing compared to what happens when Sony's 10 year plan kicks into high gear!

Yes, the mainstream market is actually smaller than than the power of the Playstation brand!

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

BTW, I put this up on my Destructoid blog, and this was one of the replies:

As long as Nintendo appeals those douche bag little bastards known as kids and casual gamers, then they will continue to make money with the Wii.

So it's the fault of those bastards buying the Wii!

The 360 just doesn't get any love these days....

"79% of Wii gamers are male, most older than 18 with an income of $50,000 or more"

Straight from Nintendo.

Just kids, huh?
