ps3 cost as much as the cheapest blueray player they make money but the ps3 can do so much more, and I go to wikipidia almost everyday so your wrong its not half the price to manufacture than before its only been one year and 6months so the cost is still high.

and by the way I know someone who bought it just for blueraydvds so sony will not be making there money back off that person so sony just got robbed.

wekk most people i know who have a wii say that they are going to buy a ps3 when it gets a lil cheaper so you no. i only know of 1 person who says they would not get a ps3 but they only started gaming hameing when the wii came so

o yh and also the other people i mentioned who have the wiis have had a ps2 aswell

I think predicting downfalls are pointless...

They are ALL here to stay for another generation of consoles. We will see those in at least 3 years from Nintendo Sony & Microsoft.

So be happy, the Wii is amazing, the 360 rocks, the PS3 is excellent. They all have their advantages. No need to put one down to make yours look better

You got it all wrong. It's the other way around. The high attach rate of the X360 proves that there can't be so many RRODs that people claim (like the insane number of 1/3 like you used here yourself). The more failed consoles you have out there, the more the attach rate drops.


 You do know that you can send your xbox to microsoft for a free repair right?  How does RROD lower attach rate when the problem can be fixed?  It's just that 3 years is too short.  The failure rate is at 1/3.

 

Because many who send in their RROD gets a brand new X360, and the failed one gets repaired and re-sells refurbished. That's the argument about RROD affecting attach rate. The OP belives that too, just that he got his math very wrong.

I know this, I got charged 135$ when it broke they gave me one that worked for three months and my 60day warrenty then they wonted to charge me again 105$ they tried to take off 10percent and throw in 1 month of xboxlive i declined then got a psp untill i found a wii.
I didnt get the RROD they just stopped playing games but they did play dvds still.
