Kojima does not do ports, hes only working on a PS3 version.

 So once MGS4 is out for PS3 it will take Konami minimum 6 month to a mediocre port, and by them it wont matter.

I think this is the most likeliy scenario. I actually think it will be more like a year, personally, but 6 months is obviously plausible :p

 6 months = mediocre, if they do it right like the Oblivion dudes.  Yahh a year is likely.

He said MGS4 needs theater type quality like the PS3 while 360 is more like DVD quality. But doesnt theater type quality gets ported to DVD? It make since to be on both to get more revenue.

Well, if it doesn't, you could always just buy the PSWii60, and have access to any game that comes out!

I wouldnt care if it did go to 360. I dont care what games go to the 360. Every game I have played on both I like better on the PS3. I also absolutly hate the 360 controller. I have never liked it. Sony has the best controller. It just fits and is very functional.

My best guess as to what all this means is that a 360 port is planned, but Konami is under contract with Sony not to talk about it for a certain period of time (I'm guessing at least a few weeks after its PS3 release).

Obviously a port makes good business sense and it'll make a lot of gamers happy. Still, considering how important this game could be to the PS3's success, I sort of hope they're not porting it. I don't think a 2-console war is going to be good for anybody.
