The Revamped Mario Kart Wii time trials thread (updated for 27th July 2009)

Sorry I haven't updated in ages, but I have been quite busy and this is quite a task keeping it updated... so I won't be updating it regularly from now on, but I will try keep up to it on occasion.

If you wish to be included in the rankings... first you need a worthy time (better than one posted here) then you need to do one of these things:
-Take a photo of the time (blu tac your VGC name and MK name onto the screen too)
-Add this friend code to your roster and wait for me to add yours (which you either post here or PM me with)

-Have someone else on VGC post here to confirm your times
-Already be on my other Friend Roster (Larry Lion)

Rankings list
Points are awarded using five points for 1st place, four points for 2nd place, three for 3rd place, two for 4th and one point for 5th place... in the event of a tie, whoever gets the most points ignoring 4th/5th gets the higher rank, and if it is still a tie, then it's a tie.

Not certain who bobbo is on VGC by the way... does anyone know?

^very true, though I haven't been on today (except onto the channel to check times)

It might need updating again later as routsonmanman (sp?) says he should have some times, but I only just added him.

TWRoO are you better than Rol? O__o

Wow, you guys are fast. What's better to use, karts or bikes? I used karts to unlock all the expert ghosts, now I need to start crunching my times down.

 I don't think Rol has tried particularly hard for some of them, in fact neither of us has improved any of our times for about a week.

@phendrana, if you can get used to them bikes are supirior for time trials.  I am not sure I have even unlocked all the expert ghosts yet? I thought the ones with the Wii Wheel logo were the standard ones, and it still uses some of them (I have eaten the times but to unlock expert you seem to have to beat standard by a decent margin)

@routsounmanman ok, adding them now.

I think my time on Mario Raceway N64 might be faster than Rolands I'll just have to check. EDIT: Yes i beat Roland with a time of 1.57.574.

Do most of these times beat the expert staff ghosts? I know unlocking all 32 expert staff ghosts unlocks Outfit B for your Mii, I think. Have you guys all done that?

I'm pretty sure most of your times are faster than the expert ghosts. It's kind of dumb the way they do it. There's nothing that differentiates the experts from the normal ones. It just replaces them once they're unlocked.
