Agreed.  Code Veronica is one of the best spin-offs that truly felt like a main game.

Resident Evil 3 was supposed to be the spin-off with code veronica originally supposed to be RE3, on next gen hardware.  Sony had a contract for 3 mainline resident evil games, though, so what should have been RE3 became code veronica, and the spin-off game on last gen became RE3.

How does Jill look like, then? Julia Voth? Siena Guillory? The half-japanese woman of the PS1 games?

I'm just trying to say, "looks like Jill" doesn't mean anything at all, since the character changes all the time. I'm sure within 10 or 15 years the people growing up with current Jill will complain about the next design due to nostalgia and whatnot.

Also, not sure exactly what the point is about female characters since all of them are significantly different and the first redesign we've seen was the most daring of all, and that's Chris in RE7.

Interesting.  Either way they both turned out excellent!  Thanks for sharing! :D
