I heard about a new city for the DLC a few months ago. Rumours they are but i heard that they could potentially release something the size of San Andreas.

+ Downloadable EPISODES aren't new cities, as far as I'm aware it could something like New Jersey added to the game

2 THINGS:

1. This whole entire article and magazine was sponsored by Microsoft. This editorial was paid for.

2. They said MAY be as big as San Andreas. That also means it may not be. I wouldn't be surprised if it did turn out to be pretty big, but a whole new city seems to be a bit of a stretch. Maybe a new part of the city, kinda like how you have the poor parts and the rich parts of the city in San Andreas. Thats just too large of a file to download, and the pricing would be a bitch. But if it does turn out later on that it is like a San Andreas add-on, I will get the XBox version as well.

I don't believe this though. It just seems like Microsoft paid them to start this rumor up all over again.

He is right of course. If Rockstar get more than $50 million in DLC revenue they get to keep the excess. Arranging the DLC could have been another reason for the 6 month delay. At the end of the day Microsoft didn't loan them $50 million for some horse armour. These may not be SA or VC big, but they will be BIG. Also, remember this. They won't have to include the game engine or drivers in the DLC, as they will already be on the disc. You could easily have 3-4gb downloads that could be monstrous in size.

Also guys, I said all along that Rockstar would not release any add ons for GTA4 through disc. It would be downloadable I said. 2 reasons why? 1. Its far cheaper for Take 2(and they are struggling financially) and 2. They could use all the sound files and texture files off the disc as you play, so the download wouldnt have to be as big as what would be on the disc. Sorry to say but I never expected anything less. 50 mill from MS buys exactly this kind of thing.

Is this a big deal or something? I'm still buying the PS3 version. DLC cost extra money. That stuff should already be in the game. Holding out and making us pay for stuff that should have been in the game right off tops is bullshit.
