To be fair, the Forza games have two developers that can help each other at least (Turn 10 and Playground Games), which probably significantly helps as to why they can get them out so fast. Also where are you getting the 7 years from? It was less than 4 years between GT6 (December 2013) and GT Sport (October 2017).

Thats not an excuse, PD has a employee size of over 170 people to tun 10s 100. And even if turn 10 has another 100+ people helping them on the odd year that doesn't mean PDs output should be so poor.
And I never said it took 7 years between GT6 nd GT sport. I said in 7 years (from the release of the PS4 in 2013 to when its being replaced in 2020) all we got was GT sport. So yes, in 7yrs all they did was make one game. At least SSM did more than release just GOW. They also worked on a number of indie projects and remasters.
And the worst part about this,is that its ot like because they have been working on GT7 since 2017 it means we will see it in 2020 (3 years) or 2021 (4 years).No,we will be lucky if we see it by 2022... my money is actually in 2023 at the earliest. And even after such long development cycles they still somehow mange to release "incomplete" games. They were either rehashing models from previous gens without interiors, or releasing with their smallest number of cars and tracks since GT3. Yes they have added a ton via DLC but still...
I have bought and played every single GT game out there, I am a die hard fan... but I am sorry, thy have been fucking up for a while now.

To be fair, PD released GT6 late in the PS3's life cycle, when it should have been a PS4 launch title.

Doesn't really matter.
Don't get me wrong,I get they have supported the release of GT sport massively post launch (adding over 100 cars and more tracks. I get that they are pushing this model of us only needing one GT game that an be built on... but still. As I said, My real issue here is that we will not see GT7 anytime soon. I GT7 was to come in 2021/2022 I wouldn't be that bummed. But no... just watch it come in 2023/2024.
