So, is this going to be switch exclusive? Or there is a chance for this to come on PS4/PS5 as DQXI Definitive Edition or whatever name?

At least the 2D stuff and the music will be Switch exclusive because the composer didn't want it in the game so he could make money on concerts. Nintendo paid to have it in the game

Wasn't thinking about getting this again so soon, played it on PS4 and PC...twice but with the added content (especially the orchestrated soundtrack) I have to triple dip. As if that wasn't enough the new stories actually fit perfectly into the main game being based off of that cataclysmic event. Never seen a definitive edition add so much content.

DQXI is one of my all-time favorite JRPGs, and I look forward to playing through the game once more.

Nice, makes the delay worth it for some. I probably won't pick it up again though, still haven't finished it on the PS4 before getting bored.

This game is looking to be really awesome. Glad I waited for the Switch version.

will be my first dragon quest game since 8 on the ps2 looks like i made the right decision in waiting to see what the switch version offers I was close many times to buy the ps4 version
