I am very happy with that.  I feel I got extremely close to the mark.

Truth be told is that they bring it on themselves.

If I were in a position to see and share numbers, I will just pop up in the thread on the da and cryptically or not drop the numbers N one can argue or dispute facts. After that I am done with the numbers. The End.

The issue with most of the people that share numbers is that they also share their opinions. And the second you start doing that then you are opening yourself up to be challenged. 

Lets take the Benji guy for instance..... I don't know about him nor am I aware of his track record.... but from what I see he gives information on where the market is leaning.. to the best of his knowledge. Problem with that is that its nt an exact science and if he must do that then he should do well to make a disclaimer and point out what he's certain of and what he isn't. Problem solved.

What's the problem with Benji?, he barely is critizised here, in fact, his numbers are most used here to discuss sales. I don't understand why he points the finger in this forum with such desdain. VGC is still the best site to discuss sales in my opinion. If he wants to find people that will say something awful to him, he will find them always because this is the internet, and people say everything without repercusions. We here discuss everything, even Benji leaks if needed.

I find him very reasonable and he's usually right, so i really don't understand the problem. If it is because some of us dediced to trust more Nintendo official PR, well, sorry then, but it was the correct thing to do, even if it was wrong. I won't apologize for that. If he ended being right, good for him and good for us because that way we could reach the truth of the numbers more accurately.

For my part I'll stay discussing here, while i keep attention to everything Benji says because both are fun and very useful to know about selling numbers.

 

Edit: So now i see, this is because two posters discussed the credibility of Benji in this thread before the leaks, even though there were as many or more who defended him. So that's why this site is a shithole....mmm.

Wow, amazing numbers all around, everyone is basically tied. PS4 won slightly unit wise, Switch was the most profitable with no pricecut and Xbox One did very well considering last year saw the launch of a revision. So pretty much great on all fronts.

I did want to point out, though, that this was the biggest November in history for total home console sales in the U.S. First time all three brands sold over 1 million each in a November, and the first time all three sold over 4 million combined. Outstanding.

PS4 will most likely sell below 1.2m in December, while its expected that Switch with Smash will do around 2m at least.

About Benji comment, some users here can't take his comments about PS4 is going to do worse than Switch in December and down yoy in November. Hell, even Matt from NPD was blasted because of his prediction stated Switch this year is going to be the first hardware in the US(looks like his prediction is accurate).

Yeah, I remember when Matt said that he thinks that Switch will best selling console of year, and people calling him when PS4 had huge wins in some months, but now in December, that's very likely.
