Well, not everyone starts on Monday. I think it officially starts on the 9th (EA Play) which is actually less than a week away where I live.

According to the E3 homepage, E3 starts on the 12th. EA might be doing something that supposedly ties into it because it's a day or two before, but E3 starts on the 12th.

But that even leaves out Microsoft... and Bethesda... Nintendo's E3 starts on the 12th and they're the last ones. I guess officially, it starts on the 11th with Squre Enix. Which is roughtly a week and a few hours away from EST. Wouldn't be much of an E3 prediction thread if we only focus on the 12th.

Sony Predictions

Demons Souls Remastered
New Souls IP set in medieval japan (likely Sony exclusive)
DMCV (somewhat open world) (not exclusive)
New trailer for FF7R but no release date
Medievil 2 remastered trailer
Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer and release date (2019)

We already know we are getting extended looks for Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima and The Last of Us 2 so Gameplay should be expected.

I got ya. I mean it is a bit nitpicky of me, just saying though.

*edit* It's the same way I don't count the PlayStation Countdown as part of E3 or we can say E3 starts in two days.... But it really doesn't. It starts on the 12th.

Ummmmm. E3 is more than a week away.

While the exposition itself starts in tuesday, E3 is known because of the companies conferences, and 95% of the reason people watch it.So in practice E3 starts when the first conference goes live, which is EA in saturday.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I wouldn't consider EA Play a part of E3 the same way I wouldn't consider a few years back when the Nintendo Direct happened like 3 days before E3 part of E3. You may feel different, it's really up to interpretation as far as what people consider part of E3, but the actual E3 conferences are from the 12th to the 14th.

EA Play technically isn't part of E3. It's a seperate event held by EA from June 9-11. Look anywhere on their webpage, it doesnt say "E3".

EA backed out of E3 2-3 years ago. They don't even have a booth there anymore.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

I predict Sony will not announce any big games.

Microsoft will have Gears spinoff, Forza Horizon 4, and the new mainline Halo as their reveals. No other first party announcements.

Nintendo will reveal Pikmin 4 and Starfox racing.

I'm really super hyped for E3 but I'm not expecting much in the form of new game reveals.

I mentioned DMC 5 before, but want to take the time out to say Xenosaga.

I do agree that it up for interpretation in a way, since E3 itself is just the exposition, and that by itself happens betwenn 12th and 14th of June, but since basically everyone considers that E3 begins when the first conference starts, which is EAs, then thats the norm, given that when someone refers to E3 they arent refering solely to the exposition, but rather everything around it, which includes the companies conferences.
