PS4 2016 vs NSW 2019? Sure I can do that.

The PS4 did good numbers, but it was down YoY iirc. The Switch should be able to take it a lot more easily, but some months might be interesting to compare. I also like that you added SW to the comparisons. For this thread it was 28 to 13 games charted. It will be interesting if Switch can beat last year.

US it was down. 5.2m or so.
Switch is selling virtually identically to the PS4.

Switch should be able to do 2m+ in December, so right now it would be a major upset if the PS4 won the comparison. |
So major upset or..?
Great comparison. They are selling so identical to eachother, I hope 2016 vs 2019 is interesting

Major upset confirmed.
Incredible victory for the PS4!
It had no system sellers in 2015, compared to NS with Pokemon + Smash, and PS4 also had the higher price tag.

No system sellers in 2015? Did you not look at the OP? It had over twice as many games chart in NPD, had a permanent price cut and an additional black friday discount.
Also the price argument doesnt make much sense since they are devices with completely different form factors, specs and features.
