Forums - Gaming Discussion - Patent shows Microsoft’s Andromeda phone with 360-degree rotation support and dual-display

I remember Sony trying to do a dual screen phone (top) and the rumored Microsoft Courier in maybe 2010 that was a foldable dual screen tablet that never happened.

Holy shit that design... the width of the thing behind the screen (s) would make it about 2 inches thick in the middle of the device. Were CRT screens still popular around the R&D phase of this? :D

How the fuck is that unique? And how the fuck are they able to hold a patent for this? Every single mobile device manufacturer has been dabbling with that for the past 10 years.

I really enjoy that you can have kids watch something else on each screen while sitting opposite from each other.

Yeah, I'm sure kids will be thrilled to be stared at by their mom while they're trying to watch their stuff.

I remember this one, it was great concept, professional tablet with custom OS aimed at fairly specific audience - I was actually pretty excited about it - not for myself, I really had no use for it, but for my brother who's theatrical stage manager and who would love it - I was pretty bummed when they canceled it.
