Its frustration. I have nothing but bad experiences with AI with them not using heal even when they clearly have heals available. The AI just perform so inadequately and the fact you cant swap character mid battle is just a pain. Theres so many times i was like let me be in charged of person for this time. Like let me be in charged of the person who i have tanking and then let me take control of the healer when things get crazy but i cant do that. I gotta leave it in the hands of AI and it infuriates me to no end

So far my experience with the game is nothing like that. Its quite the oposite really. The AI is quite competent and they do their roles accordingly. If you like to have more control over the healing part of your party, just control the charachter that do the healing, instead of Rex.Or if you would like to be the tank, control the charachter that is the tank.

Ok that doesn't sound too bad.  And the good combat sounds fun.

There are just so many damn games out right now. I even have a handheld game in the form of Etrian 5 though. I'll put it on the list, thanks.

Oooh ! Nice stuff there :) Hope you liking this one ... I hope they'll do another one for Switch but I don't see how they would make the map creator work with the Switch screen ...

Portable I "get" it.  Just draw on the switch its self. The screen is big enough to section it off.  But docked? That seems far too hard.  The D-pad/stick would not be sensitive enough to draw lines, or put what items you want where.

Then again there are a couple of "undocked only" games. The screen feels sensitive enough to be able to do it undocked.

Do give XC 2 preference though. In my opinion is an excellent game so far, and I personally liked it do far more than Zelda.

Hard to do that with Monster hunter, DBZ, and Dissidia coming out January.  I can probably squeeze it in as a handheld for TV and travel etc.

  • Deadliest mass shooting by an individual in US history (10/01/2017)
  • Deadliest high school shooting in US history (02/14/2018)
  • Deadliest massacre of Jews in US history (10/27/2018)
  • Political assassination attempt of TWO former presidents(and 10+ other people)  (10/23/2018 - and beyond)

XC 2 is a game best enjoyed in the TV, but I get where you are comming from.Fair enough!

Even with the indicator it took me several hours to find out where the hell to go after escaping the ship in Torigoth. It got me some levels though so I wasn't too mad but the frustration was there.

I saw a big resolution drop when I was getting the diamond tree bark and I was walking across that bridge way up there and happened to look down.

It plays more like the original than X and while the world is huge it feels much more like a throwback to JRPGs of old with the big world maps. An open world rpg this is not though there is a lot to do.

I do dislike the side missions so far though their rewards are pretty good. I hate how entitled the people are. Some douche bag expected me to spend 30k on a freaking item from a nopon after finding his kid and rescuing him. Make that a separate mission dammit, don't add it on to the other half.

The story is real engaging so far though with high production values on the cut scenes and an amazing voice cast, especially Pyra.

hearing meh meh meh in a battle numerous times however is something only the strongest of us will be able to endure tho. Worse nopon in the series so far.

I freaking love this game though and have not been able to put it down. Because of it Resident Evil Revelations has just sat on my shelf since I bought it.

This is exactly why I'm loving this game. It feels like I'm playing the version of an SNES JRPG that the devs were imagining in their heads. Personally, I wish we could actually sail/fly between Titan's, but I loved sailing in Wind Waker. I'm not exactly the best person to talk to about this.

Either way, the world of this game is infinitely more compelling than that of XCX, so I'll take a not open world open world game if it gives me that. Long live Alres.

Well, this is new.

Read.

Actually flying between the titans would've been incredible. That was one of the highlights of X if you ask me. When you finally get your flight module and you can truly uncover the world.

Games are fun.

Its pretty fun, especially once you get used to the element combos helpfully mapped out on the upper right of the screen, managing the party meter and being able to do chain combos, things can get dope.

I do wish there was a way to control what element the other non Tora drivers could use so they could set up the elements better.
