Trump has done a good job so far, vindicating those who got persecuted for voting him. Still, many haters remain vocal because they have no solid grasp of politics and parrot what they hear on TV.

As I said before the election. If the US people vote in Trump they deserve him. In a few months when the bubble bursts they will have to live with their decision.

I think it is a good thing that the US is isolating itself by pulling out of the Paris agreement and now the Iran deal (influenced by its relationship with Israel, rather than a good reason). With countries moving away from the the petro dollar to Yuans and Euros, that will strengthen those regions and will be less dependent on the US. The UK and Europe have said they will continue trying to see through the Iran deal, which will benefit both Iran and Europe. Over time as we see the US isolate itself while Trump is in power, we'll eventually see NATO dissolve. Then the US can stop being the world police, which is what Trump wants too. The US will cease to be relevant on the world stage. Win/Win for all concerned.

Is it ironic that these claims always come from people seemingly without a clue about politics at all?

I should have been dead at least 5 times now because of Trump according the CNNs and NBCs of the world. I mean 1st, the economy was going to crash because of him and I probably would have starved to death, then he was going to get me nuked by north korea.... the Tax cuts were definitely supposed to kill me... oh ya Jerusalem embassy move was supposed to kill, then now Iran.  I am incredibly lucky I guess.

You must unlearn all the BS you have been fed your entire life I fear.

I never liked Trump as a person, and was pretty heavy against him early in the primaries. Then I started listening to him some when it was down to Him, Kasich and Cruz. And I realized he actually made sense once I got past my personal prejudices against him.

As the human condition stands now socialism will always fail. We as humans are not wired for it work. I get the left is trying to reshaped that by indoctrination from a young age to get a person in a mental state will they can properly be subject to socialism, but that will and is going to fail too. You don't think the USSR tried that? Several ethnic cleansings and brainwashing for 70+ years could not achieve it. Like I said, we are humans are hardwired not to work in that type of system.

I was tired of us as a nation being used to feed economic growth in 3rd world countries. I always knew this was happening, but I did not think anyone would ever stop it. I mean I got the basic premise siphon off US economic power to other countries and let our economy fuel their growth. I understand many people online I interact with are not from the US, so I understand why do not like Trump. You are used to us having presidents like Bush or Obama who sellout the US at your gain.

Anyways as soon as he said he was going to lower the corporate tax rate I was sold. There is a 0% chance that does not fire up the economy leading to more total jobs, better pay, and more tax revenue than was lost by cutting the taxes. The fact I ended up getting a direct tax break was just gravy (about 350 more in my pocket a month).

Its all working. Food stamp recipients are way down. And this was not down in the old school republican way or changing the program to make them harder to get. This was made more people working and no longer qualifying to receive them. This is a good thing. Next step is to gut the liberal indoctrination centers (aka Universities). They are a huge scam. People getting BS degrees on loans they can never repay and all is supported by the elites because they get a chance to warp a young mind into a pliable useful idiot.  I have known many good people who have gone in well adjusted 18 year olds to come out fat purple haired slobs who scream about white privilege and call themselves socialist or communist. In many cases they grow out of it once they are in position where they have to take responsibility and actually deal with life.

I like the fact Trump is actually doing something about illegal immigrants. Putting the National Guard to patrol the border was very wise. Stop the huge amount of drug trafficking that is killing our kids.

I’m not even going to try to reply to this confused drivel. So much agenda driven, short sighted crap it really hurts my brain.

Trump is awesome

logic can be pain to the brain. You have to break the conditioning.

What agenda am I driving exactly? Whose Agenda? Why Agenda?

My basic point is that socialism is terrible most situations. Communism is terrible in all. I do think a welfare state could work in a homogenous society with a culture that stresses the importance of community and personal responsibility. Those places do or did exist. Sweden used to be one in fact... used to.

I like Donald Trump because his views align with classic liberalism and put a higher emphasis on personal responsibility and creates incentives for that. Read JFK's views on the economy and our countries place in the world. I literally could quote them and says its Trump and you would believe me. Probably why he was killed and the wreck known as LBJ got into office. Thankfully Trump has Pence as VP which to me is life insurance because he is a 90s type Republican...

Socialism/Communism may not be ideal, yet no country has implemented a pure version of it. Humans get in the way of the "perfect" implementation. But the US isn't practising pure capitalism either. It is a very watered down version of what was originally proposed, again due to human interests. So which system is actually representative of what they claim to be?

If Donald Trump was truly for "personal responsibility" he would pass laws to stop the US from being the most litigious country on the planet. The fact that the US facilitates suing of fellow citizens and companies over stupid things shows that the country has a long way to go for people there to really to take personal responsibility for their actions. The fact that the origins of "Contents HOT" originates in the US from people not being personally responsible and blaming others for their own stupidity!

This idea that Socialism/Communism can even work is flawed and downright impossible. The reason many college kids that I see tend to have more socialist tendencies is because they live in a perfect world in which everything is paid for by their parents and thus they don't have to worry about a thing. Once they experience the real world they'll quickly realize nothing is ever given to you for free and no person should ever take their possessions away from them. My cash and my belongings are mine, and no one is entitled to take them from me. Name for me one successful country in the world that implemented socialism/communism and wasn't reliant on the US for anything in foreign aid. Odds are, there are none, because there are no successful countries that implement it.

As for the second point, I fail to see how it's Trump's fault people go to court for stupid reasons. This falls in line with the point that humans are stupid and will do stupid things. Trump does it himself since he was CEO of a company and many people wanted a shot at his wealth (he can also be petty in other instances too, especially if the other said idiot crosses the line). There are many dumb cases that exist around the world, so I don't see how this is relevant. Feel free to rephrase, I just cant understand it.

The goal of socialism is communism. That is all.

good points.

I do agree. Communism is a great concept in theory, but humans get in the way (was my entire point of my 1st post in this thread that the person I responded to could not comprehend).

To your second paragraph. I think of anyone Trump would want to create laws that punish frivous lawsuits. In his field he spent much of his career fighting them. But you know how CNN would spin that. "Trump creates laws to prevent his dissenters from suing him"

4th Estate is actively working against the people. People are quickly catching on though. Which makes me optimistic.
