There's some 45 minutes away but I'm too lazy to drive and get it. I'll just get Cuphead instead.

No luck for me. I tried and I failed.

I went to Wal Mart to see if they had any but they sold out at Midnight. I didn't even know people did midnight releases at Wal Mart. Let alone enough people to clean the stock. *Crosses fingers that Reggie is right about not having to buy scalper prices.*

I ended up ordering mine from Amazon.fr, so it'll take a while to arrive here. I wish prime offered europe wide free shipping *sigh*.

Just came back. I got one in best buy, got there at 9:30 am, and was the 159 person to get a ticket. There are probably 200-300 snes classic on that best buy. Amazing there were people in line at midnight, i just woke up today crossed the border and drove there, and got it without any trouble. My friend got there at night and was the one who told me i could still get one earlier on.

Now to wait for the nes classic

I got three, For me, my little brother and a buddy of mine.

My preorder is waiting for me. I just need to pick it up tomorrow.

Walmart Sucks!

I live in a 45k person suburb that is ~30min drive away from a 5MM person city. My town has a Walmart that is generaly quite easy to buy launch/black friday stuff. Though, the typical employee and management in Walmart leaves a lot to be desired. But I very, very rarely ever go to Walmart (a few times a year), so I just deal with it for these types of launches.

Well, I went to my Walmart at ~23:15 and found out they were receiving 28 units with a line of 15 people, myself included. I thought how awesome that was until I realized that they were allowing 2 per person. THen I was like, damn I'm likely going to miss out. Though I was hoping that many would just be buying one and it would still be ok. Come to find out "people" was literal. A family in front of me bought 8 because they had a mom, dad, and 2 very little children. WTF. I complained that this was not the intent of "2 per person" and they should only be allowed 4 (which would mean I would get one) but apparently the manager had already approved that bullshit.

So I left the store with only a brownie.

Target is Awesome!!

This morning, I dropped off my son at school and decided that I'd hit up the nearby Target as I needed to buy a new belt anyways and it was right at open. They opened at 8:00 and I arrived at about 8:10. Found out they received 86 but there was a long line. I figured well, I'll go ahead and get in line to see how it goes. As I was walking to the back of the line an employee was handing out tickets, sure enough I got the last available ticket!

The best part of this and thre reason why Target is far superior Walmart (though there are too many to list) is that their much higher educated employees and management had the foresight to put a hard limit of "1 per adult" and pass out tickets before hand. This is how you handle high scalper items. I was super impressed and even if I had not gotten a ticket, I would have been ok with this process.

So tonight when I'm off work, I will get my SNES love on. :)

how was the brownie?
