It's probably a willingness to give more leeway to ports from a system that sold 13 million consoles lifetime, where a much smaller pool of people were even exposed to the game. Ports from Wii U are much worse than ports from PS3. PS3 owners had a great system with tons of multiplats, Wii U owners didn't get much so they should have exclusives.
