Pyro wouldn't be drawing flak if he said that Nintendo and Sony were combining to kill Xbox (as a console brand) right now, because it's common sense.

Unfortunately, in this instance, he lacks the common sense to note that the PS4 family of systems is up year-on-year, even without a price drop to $249 for the base PS4 or PS4 slim.

That can happen. TBH I think that will be a small problem until the PS5 and Xbox 4 come out. I think once those console come out we will see how big that problem can be. That will be the real test for AAA western 3rd party support.

EA SEED is their new research division and streaming probably isn't going to be the future of gaming considering there's more complications involved with game streaming than other types of digitized content ... I never said I want to use game streaming, I too think it will be the casual solution.

I do think SEED is more focused on Deep Learning kind of stuff.
I also feel like they would also be handling streaming related R&D, such as efficient compression of data packets for use in game streaming.

100% Speculation though.

People just can't stand the complete Sony domination. Every time their competition does something right they act like it's over for Sony. Hyping up pathetic stuff reminds me of Crapgamer who from the lack of positive news from the Xbox camp though that making a video about Xbox one X ''amazing'' packaging was a good idea. If he was a PS fanboy at least he would have the ammo to make console war content without making himself look pathetic.
And this AAA-support thing is over exaggerated.
The only ports so far are indie games, old games and amazingly optimized IDtech 6 games that run 1080p/60fps on consoles. If Bethesda is so supportive of the Switch why isn't TEW 2 or F4 getting a Switch version? Capcom is not lazy for not releasing MH: world on the Switch. This game with it's open world, physics and AI is too much for the Switch. The future doesn't look bright either with a new generation in 2-3 years.

- The fact that you don't see anything wrong here would be bad enough. However, because you think we're going to just "let it ride" is where your problems will only get worse.

Sony will only have the AAA versions of AAA games similar to what PC has today. It won't be enough against everything else being portable with (gimped) local multiplayer. PS4 might break records but it will be left turned OFF while Switch gets all the playtime. Switch will go on to become a better non-gaming entertainment piece of hardware that toasts PS4 and rivals Apples/Androids workhorses (all rounders) for movie/TV/music.

Again, the fact that you don't see anything wrong (nor how it mirrors some of your sentiments of past threads we've locked) is the troubling part.

I think PS4 is going to 'near kill' xbox. Apologies for the language used. Edit as you see fit.

Switch is 'matching' PS4. Obviously nobod has an accurate position without knowing how much Switch would have sold. I'm half predicting/assuming.

I think Sony will struggle to have anything unique, I think Switch will be first port of call for upcoming devs and Nintendo has something Apple/android don't.
