Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Doom for Switch will have all updates and DLC except level editor, more

learn with bethesda capcom...

Bethesda has shared more information about Doom for Switch, all updates and DLC will be included. The only exception is the SnapMap level editor.

Bethesda also says that the physical version will only include the single-player campaign because of size constraints. A separate downloadable update will be needed for online multiplayer.

Nintendo only owners should get excited. This is one amazing game

We're in a world where Bethesda gives full support to a Nintendo platform and doesn't even tell fans Skyrim is a test to discern future support, mean while Capcom and EA are still in disarrays like a circus.

I own it on PC and I am excited!

Sounds good to me, no biggie on the download (as long as it's not huge) and I'm not big on editors personally.

I would give each more credit than Capcom at this point. There's fe coming soon and they even said the switch will probably get more sports titles next year.

While it is unfortunate that multiplayer isn't on the card, in this case it makes little difference imo. The multiplauee was met with a resounding meh while the singleplayer was GOTY material. Honestly, I may buy it but won't install the multiplayer as I really don't care.

Well i prefer single player campaign anyway so this will be fine with me.

Hopefully future carts come down in price and they start using the bigger ones.

Graphically it does look extremely soft, likely due to a lower rendering resolution.
Some of the texturing leaves much to be desired.

But overall from the glimpse we saw, it looks like it retains allot of the presentation from the other versions which is an amazing feat in of itself.
iD Tech 6 is showing how low she can go, that's for sure.

And with iD Tech 6 on Switch, that also means the Switch will get Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus and hopefully future iD Tech 6 titles.

Shame the complete game isn't on Cart, but at-least the Single Player is.
