I think only 3 of those are Microsoft Studio games.

3 to 5 has been the number for "true" first party exclusives from MS and Sony in the last decade.

What Sony Studio games do we have this year? Horizon ZD, GT6 and...?

And Nintendo with 4 "big" games the whole year, with no AAA multiplat.

Why does you guys have to give MS in such a harsh scale?

Gravity Rush 2

No Heroes Allowed! VR

Everybody's Golf ?

Knack 2

Horizon Zero Dawn (+the frozen wilds expansion)

Uncharted : The lost Legacy

Grand Tursimo Sports

MBL The Show '17

Drawn to Death

Patapon Remastered

LocoRoco Remastered

Wipeout Omega Collection

Think these are from studios with ties/owned by Sony? right.. might have missed some.

Ahh,  Oh boy, using remasters, DLCs and ports from mobiles are a realy good way to pump up the numbers.

I have to think you have no idea half of those games are.

For any quantitative mesure no one can say Sony is pumping games after games. And they don´t need to.

And when an user here said this game could use a delay to make improvements he were met with a lot of criticism.

Also it is funny when people were criticizing Sony for the games announced in advance and that MS didn't do that anymore so Phill Spencer attacks on Sony doing it were valid... nothing like a day after another.

Im not giving MS a harsh scale, im talking about exclusives (1st or 3rd).

It is hard to make the case that ANY Xbox lineup could be better than 2007's.

Yes they are. At their respective pace.

You cannot pump a Horizon type of game in a yearly basis, it doesnt work like that.

Guerrilla spent 6 years making that game.

How many years did ND spend doing Uncharted 4?

Games at that scope are taking longer than ever to make, and obviously their smaller projects, the ones that take way less time to develop, you will say "but no one has ever heard about that game".

How did Microsoft go from that (ignoring the first year, 7 was the MINIMUM)
to 7, 7, 7, 5, 3. with 7 being the MAXIMUM.

I was shocked to see THIRTEEN in 2007. That year must have been insane.

But for some reason all years from 2013 up to know had the best lineup ever in Xbox history

How can those games you mentioned beat:

  • Bioshock *
  • The Orange Box *
  • Halo 3
  • Mass Effect *
  • Forza 2
  • Project Gotham Racing 4
  • Crackdown
  • Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars
  • Ace Combat 6
  • Eternal Sonata
  • Blue Dragon
  • Naruto: Rise of a Ninja
I know it is your opinion and all, but.....come on!

Perhaps because Nintendo and Sony release much better games, in more quantity and Sony doesn't drop support at the end of gen or just release the same IPs.

UC4 seems like between 3 to 4 years if I'm not wrong. It started during TLOU development when they made 2 teams if I'm not wrong.

Per Phil Spencer:

"2017 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting years ever for Xbox gamers. We are preparing to launch the most powerful console ever made this holiday – Project Scorpio – along with a diverse lineup of games. In fact, we are committed to delivering even more exclusive games for both Xbox One and Windows 10 this year than we launched in 2016.  I was very proud of our first-party lineup in 2016 and I am encouraged by an even bigger and more differentiated first-party lineup in 2017, starting with today’s launch of Halo Wars 2."

I mean, even taking out the remasters and DLC (don't know what the mobile port is?) that's 9 games. That's a game every 6 weeks instead of Microsofts game every 6 months.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Yes the guy doesn't even blush while telling all those lies.

And when we question Xbox fans why they believe the guy and to have any show that MS is really investing in their 1st party and exclusives we have a lot of back and forth without any real point in them.
