Forums - Gaming Discussion - Switch exclusives vs PS4 exclusives 2017

You forgot "Uncharted - Lost Legacy" in august for the PS4.

also if you count games like 1,2 - Switch you should count some of these for the PS4:

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue (only on ps4)

danganronpa-1-2-reload (its also on psvita)

Some of these should probably be on the OP's first post too.

I think they fall under "console exclusives", if Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild does.

Agreed :)

was just going to mention kingdom hearts myself :P

PS4 has had alot of console exclusives released so far this year.

OP left out like 20+ titles for the PS4.... but still counted 1,2-switch for the Switch.

I like exclusives. They're important but, as always, my position is in favor of "The strength of the whole library". If the Switch has 30 exclusives but misses out on 90% of key franchises, that hurts the Switch (I'm). Zelda is multiplatform but it really makes the Switch worth owning.

Just putting that out there. Anyway, awesome year and a great time to own multiple consoles. I don't want to miss anything!

I haven't played enough PS exclusives to give an informed opinion. But if Nioh, Nier, and Persona are as good as they seem, and if Xenoblade and Super Mario Odyssey are as good as they look, then 2017 might be one of the best years for gaming, period.

A good chunk of these games you don't need a Switch or PS4 to play.

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

I wouldn't call Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or Pokken Tournament DX 'cash grabs', more a recognition that they need to support the system with more software so releasing upgraded ports with all previous DLC. It's the same as GOTY editions.

I think he was really just thinking of the bigger games off of his head. Because yeah, there's a ton of smaller PS4 exclusives (though I don't know how The Show got missed?)

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

PS4 hands down. PS4 has the best of everything.

This.

I'm so confused about the use of the term "exclusive" these days.
