Where did you go and what did you miss?
I was surpised how many areas I had never set foot upon even after playing the game for so long.

How do you get the game to show that? Is that paid for DLC only?
(I don't see it in my game, nor does my Switch want to connect to the internet from here)
I never teleported so I'm curious to see what my path looks like, just not curious enough to buy dlc for that.
Oh! I'm curious about mine as well. Haven't gotten the DLC yet, but I will, so consider this me tagging.
Yes it is a DLC only feature... it works retroactively, so the game kept track of your steps all the time.

I wish I had a switch for this game : / I'm playing through Majora's Mask(my 2nd 3d zelda game) and I love it so much

Whut why!? How long did it take you to beat the game, 200 hours? :L

Which is why it's especially stupid that this is a paid dlc feature. Ahwell, I actually remember my route pretty well anyway.

I am playing on a WiiU which can be found for <100$ now used. You could probaly sell it for a similar price later if you upgrade to a Switch.

Be patient, then. If you're only up to your second 3D Zelda you still have too much quality to enjoy, forget about Breath of the Wild. |
Well I finished Ocarina first, but I pretty much played all of Windwaker and stopped at the Triforce quest, so more like I've played 3 3D Zeldas.
Twilight Princess would be nice to play.

The game was too good to break immersion with teleportation. I preferred doing what was in front of me instead of focussing on the to do list (aka quest list) and avoid backtracking. It took me 170 hours! Wandering around felt like a real adventure. I did barely make it over the Gerudo mountains early in the game when I ran out of frost protection food. Link 'fainted' a few times before finally getting to jump off the mountain range towards Hebra.
