So yes I like the extra security except there is one fatal flaw. I can't sign into my Vita or PS3 without going to my PS4 and turning it off every fucking time I want to use them. So everytime I turn on my Vita I have to go to my PS4 turn it off and enter my password in all of them but since I want to keep my account secure when I am done I have to go back to my PS4 and turn it back on. Is there something I am missing? I cannot sign into PS3 or Vita if 2 step is active. Why didn't Sony think of this?

If you go to 2 step settings you get the option to create a device password which is used for devices not the PS4.

You put that code into the password field when logging in for the first time with that method and you should be good.

(I use 2 step and I own a PSTV, no issues for me.)
