Isnt it a remaster though? For a remaster this late in the 3DS life id say it did well.

Indeed, these two things explain why it only sold about 60,000 copies. However, even considering these two things, it still didn't do that well. Fates sold about 220,000 in its first week.

Oh, that's an interesting view. I think it's definitely a fighting game, even though it has rather different mechanics than a traditional ''2D'' fighter. It's like boxing in an arena... I don't know. It's another take on the genre, for sure, but I wouldn't count it out.
