Path of Exile Dev Got The Game Running on Xbox One X in 4K/60FPS Two Hours After Receiving Dev Kit

Path of Exile is coming to Xbox, and according to the game’s developer, they had the game running on Xbox One X in 4K and 60FPS two hours after receiving the Xbox One X development kit. Grinding Gear Games, the New Zealand based developer said as much during the day two of the Xbox Daily stream, which can be watched below:

Pretty impressive. I have yet to try this Diablo clone. Sorry for the format, I'm on my phone! Pull the 3 levers and release Diablo to destroy this thread if old.

Path of exile dev is about 57 minutes in to the video. They've been working on the Xbox one version for ages but yeah... 2 hours, 4k/60 on the X.

I can recammend this game.

I play it on and off, everytime they start anew with challenge leagues (usually last 3-4months), usually for a few weeks.

This is a much better Diablo game, than Diablo III is.

How so?

I quite liked diablo 3. I was disappointed with it at launch and only recently went back. Nephalem runs are ok but do get repetitive. It still doesn't stand up well to diablo 2 though... From what I've seen, path of exile looks quite a bit more like diablo 2 than 3.

Path of Exile runs on a toaster. It would be newsworthy if it took them days.
