Forums - Gaming Discussion - I just bought the Final Fantasy XV season pass for someone I've never met.

I usually buy a 3DS or 2DS for some kid asking for a "handheld game" in my mall or office angel tree every year at Christmas.

I stopped doing this last year in lieu of donating money to fight malaria and shit. I've started becoming really cognizant of where my charitable giving is going lately.

Maybe I'll start back up again though. Doing good is going good, no matter what.

The closest I got to this is going over budget in the VGC Secret Santa Steam exchange.

Signature goes here!

That's so cool of you, dude.

Well not exactly a stranger, but a friend I've had known a long time. She and I were close and even dated for a short time. Didnt work out but we were still close. She lived in Australia, so we were long distance friends. Well she had always been sickly but to an extent she never told me.

Turns out she was dying of cancer, it was terminal and she had only a few more months to live. It was painful knowing I couldnt do anything to help. But I did want to give her something so she knew she was special to me, and something to distract her since she was in a lot of pain. Anything to distract that, anything to make that pain go away -even for a moment.

Well she was a big fan of Harley Quinn, but she was also pretty poor. So she never had the money, nor her parents, to get one. So I thought I'd surprise her by getting her this big super detailed Harley Quinn statue. I got her address from a friend and ordered it to her.

She opened it in her hospital bed a few weeks later when it arrived. And it was the best thing in the world to see that smile again, something I hadn't seen since the cancer really started getting to her. So, to answer your question, sorta!

Good guy Greg... Think-man.

My brother used to do this sort of thing to, good guy, I miss him.

Feels good reading your act of kindness to a complete stranger. Thank you for that (:

Wow, that's a really beautiful story, It really made me sad to read about her cancer though. She must have been so young :'(

Is he no longer alive?

So, think-man, we've been pretty good friends, haven't we? You think you could buy me a season pass?
