Switch can have gta 5 but not before ps4 and xbox one get gta 6.

GTA6 isn't coming for a while, they can't even get RDR2 out on time. GTA5 would take like 5-8 months to port to Switch. 

Wouldn't surprise me if it's in the beginning stages of development actually, I mean c'mon Rockstar, Switch had pretty impressive launch, it's not going to cost much to port it. It's pretty much the perfect port project for Switch. 

That said, the game looks completely unappealling to me. If I was 13-years-old yeah that would probably appeal to me, but I'm not 13 anymore.

I think the chances are considerably higher than 1%. 

And who knows I don't think this Switch is the only Switch model in the next 3-4 years. There will be IMO higher powered Switch models that can run even PS4 games. 

GTAV would sell 1 million+ on the Switch is released sometime soon without much fuss. That said I couldn't give two shits about this franchise, I think it's one of the most overrated things in the industry. 

I think there probably are somewhere in the range of 20-30+ Switch projects that have started development in the last month or so because publishers have seen the big Switch sales and are scrambling to look into their product pipeline and see what they can get onto the system quickly. I'll give a specific example, as of 3 months ago, I don't think Madden NFL was coming to Nintendo Switch this year ... now I think it is. GTAV wouldn't surprise me if it falls into that category as well.

GTAV sold 5m in 1st quarter 2017. game would definitely be popular on Switch also, especially because handheld mode, it would easily sold few millions.

Yes, I think this is why it's in development. Any number of studios could be farmed out to handle the port too, it doesn't need to be the main GTA team.
