SONY better thank Europe. Switch is beating them up elsewhere, but good showing for both. The real battle was always between these 2.

Ps4 is beating everything up WW. Sony just thank the only market that matters.  And that's the global market.  It's why they're not too bothered celebrating victories in places like USA NPD anymore.  They looking at the bigger picture.

Anyway cool to see the ps4 back on top.  Wonder how many weeks in 2017 it will be #1.

I don't buy those switch numbers for a minute.
There hasn't been enough stock, anywhere, for sales like that.

There's stock ...you just don't see it long enough to notice it.

The battle for the throne in Europe is gonna be a really hard one for Nintendo, Sony always did a pretty good work here, but the rest is going really well. Can't wait to see how things go once stock issues are solved.

Damn, the Switch is still killing it in Japan.

It really is the system they were waiting for.

The problem with that explanation is the stock checking websites list last in stock dates, and during the period these sales figures are for there was only stock on ebay (at inflated prices).

Well you can get it in stores, there are also some websites who let you purchase the Switch even when out of stock and don't deliver it until they've recieved new stock, which would be prioritised to those on the waiting list. And of course who knows how desperate people may be, I mean if people weren't buying them at inflated prices, people wouldn't be selling at the at that price if they couldn't get away with it.

How does the Switch still sell? I thought that it was sold out?

This is how many units they're shipping globally per week, it seems.

They need to increase stock then.

We already know the Switch sold over 280k in the US for April so the 73k for the week of April 8th seems in line with that.
