My opinion about Arms has been a little...volatile!

When i first saw it, it didn't really interest me; than it interested and then it didn't anymore.

Yes, Splatoon was weird, but it didn't really change that much the core mechanics of a shooter.
Arms kinda does that: you only fight with your arms and at a distance (most of the time). Fighers are about arms and legs and you fight one next to the other.

Let's see how it does. Not keeping my hopes up, though.

Ever heard of boxing?

When Nintendo dedicates an entire direct to one game, that's typically a promising sign of quality.

Also consider that Mario Kart team is on this.

So - I'm very interested!

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Yep I will! And it will also be my 2nd Switch game!

It has plenty of appeal actually: innovative/interesting concept, great art style, amazing character designs and online/competitive multiplayer.

You do know appeal is subjective, correct?

Day one.

Honestly they should have just ported Pokken Tournament or Smash but I'm glad they tried something new. I was a big hater on the game at first but who knows it could be good. It looks to be at least decent 1 on 1 fun. Might as well just done another Punchout.

Did not see it that way, to be honest.
Still, even in boxing games you fight really close to one another. There's a quick retribution, if you will, to your actions; it's more intense.

I really enjoy fighting games and this looks like it does interesting things so I'll definitely get it

I will but I like it when Nintendo does something new.

I think more people will warm up to it over time. Impressions are good. It's just a bit of an odd game.
