Since this site wants to support piracy by separating threads like this, I'm going back to using Adblock. No more supporting a site that doesn't want to support the hard work of developers.

The majority of pirates ultimately don't pay the asking price for their games. The majority of pirates are on PC. Cemu was never about saving Wii U games. The Wii U wasn't even three years old before Cemu went up. A bunch of PC gamers simply wanted to be able to play Nintendo games without buying a console or the discs. Why? Because they seem to think that console exclusives are anti-consumer, and that gives them the right to steal whatever they like.

Cry a river?..

I already proved everything I've said in your last little anti-atlus thread. You glanced at the data for the PCgamer article and then got completely rebutted easily.

Ban talk of Persona 5 or BotW from emulation threads. Otherwise the mods are just condoning piracy of games that are still on store shelves, for systems that are still current gen.

They're emulating the PS3 and Wii U versions, so no, not current gen. They're last gen.

They are both current gen and last gen.

Yeah, but not the versions that are being emulated.

That's splitting hairs. There is no difference between the versions. Just changes in graphics that are beyond miniscule.

It renders your statement false.

No it doesn't because they are the same games.

They may be the same game, but emulation is very complex, so they can't be put into the same category, as a PS4 emulator would require a different project.

So a game can't be put into the same catagory as itself? That violates the rule of non-contradiction.

The last-gen and current-gen versions can't both be considered current-gen, as they have different hardware and architecture.

Emulation is not Piracy. That's ultimately the issue you need to get your head around.

They aren't emulating the game specifically, they are emulating the Platform... The game just happens to work on said platform.
The fact a game is on a dozen different platforms doesn't change that basic intrinsic fact.
