So the Celtics played like a number 1 seed and took a game. That sounds a lot more like how it should have gone. No chance in this series, but at least they have their dignity now.

Unfortunately without Leonard, I don't think there's really much of a chance the Spurs can hope to win a game.

The Celtics lost by 44 points in Game 2 of ECF pulled off miracle win in Game 3 without their best point guard. This is a remarkable win by the Celtics against all the odds. The Celtics have the number 1 draft pick and either Markelle Fultz or Lamelo Ball will be a good addition to the Celtics.

The Celtics fought hard, but the Cavs defintely came in here and didn't play like they were playing a ECF team.  They didn't respect their oponents and by the time they realized they had made a mistake it was too late to get back in it.  Always respect your oponents, they have NBA players too.

This series is not over yet. If Celtics wins game 4, i think thomas will want o play game 5.

Yeah but what if they can pull another miracle in game 4? And then thomas returns for the rest of the series? It would be very interesting thats for sure.

Seeing as how they got mulched with Thomas, I don't think his presence or absence will make a difference unless the Cavs don't play like they mean it again.  And even when the Cavs do that the Celtics have to be at their absolute best to win.

Now if Kawhli Leonard had made it back in Game 3, the WCF could have been interesting but he didn't so even if he shows up at 4 it would only delay the inevitable.

If Leonard comes back and coming back from 0-3 is on. No team has ever came back from being down 0-3, there is going to be a team that will do the near impossible.

It will make a difference. I think before the series started, thomas thought they cant beat the cavs but if the Celtics somehow wins game 4, being 2-2, thomas will know they in with a massive chance and have his confidence up and i bet the team would love to have him back and that will only boost their confidence as well. Without thomas, Celtics wouldnt have made it this far. Celtics is a better team with thomas.

I'm not saying they aren't a better team with him than without.  I'm saying the Cavs are out of their league.  They barely won this game, the game where Lebron scored 11 points and the best 3 point shooting team in the league couldn't hit the broad side of a barn for the better part of two quarters.  If the Cavs play like the Cavs, there's no chance for Boston in this series.  And if they play like the PLAYOFF Cavs, it's going to get uggly again.
