So yeah, yesterday's result was a crushing defeat for the Senators, who lost 7-0 to the Penguins. As it is now, Pittsburgh leads 3-2, with the possibility of closing out the series on the Senators' home ice.

So, we have a finalist now, with Nashville taking a 6-3 victory over Anaheim. I started watching it when there were like six minutes remaining and it was 3-3, with Ducks power play. It took less than a minute from me starting to watch it for Nashville to score a shorthanded goal, then two empty net goals in the end. I'm guessing it was a pretty tight match until the closing moments despite the numbers.

Actually, it wasn't really that tight, as the Ducks pretty much dominated the game, but were frequently unable to capitalize. Nashville scored their first 3 games on something like 9 shots, which really put then in a hole that was too much for them to dig out of.

But anyways, the Nashville Predators move on to the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time in their 19 year history!

Close to that Preds/Sens final. No jinx!

Ehh, I still predict that Pittsburgh will win game 7.
