I enjoy both of those games, and since I haven't played a mystery dungeon game for some time now, I'd be up for the idea. It may be a nice enjoyable spinoff, maybe similar to FE Heroes, in terms of collecting heroes.

I don't think this would be very interesting, unfortunately

I do like Mystery Dungeon, to an extent, especially the Pokemon ones, but after a while, it feels really repetitive and grindy.

I have yet to try out Etrian Mystery Dungeon, as it is pretty expensive, but if I enjoy that game, maybe this could work out as well
