Well forgive me for thinking that a person wouldn't publicly lie about his/her job on social media. Your POTUS isn't a good analogy because it's an easily verifiable piece of info. If you said on faceboon, twitter and linkedin that you were a developer who worked on MA: A, for example, and posted your name and picture, there'd be no reason to doubt you. |
If you're going to post such an incriminating or damning article though, don't you think it'd be reasonable to do some digging first?
Im not trying to come off as an asshole toward you. My knee jerk reaction is from that article and the nature of that article goes against some of my core beliefs. But even from a logical standpoint, at best, If EA was singling her out themselves I would just assume that they're trying to make her a scapegoat for all the bad buzz surrounding the game. Fortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. And logically, if she had been the lead animator, it still wouldn't be her fault because she didnt and couldn't have made the decision to ship the game as it is. That's ultimately a decision that falls on the people funding the game. The "fault" for this game starts at the top and, if people want someone to point fingers at, then let it be the multimillionaire CEOs that were willing to misrepresent the game for months prior to early access. I'm sure they have much thicker skin than the overworked and underpaid developers anyway.
