I have something similar, although it's not necessarily a habit... due to my mental health and medication I take, I tend to have a lot of moodswings, but I can have one really bad day, and even if nothing goes wrong for the following days, maybe even over a week, I'll still feel the same way I did on that day, so I'll be angry or upset over nothing, until all of a sudden, boom, I'm happy, or at least normal, again, lol.
As for bad habits... aside from the obvious one of buying games and not playing them, lol, I know there's one that really annoys my co-workers;
At work there's always handwritten notes and stuff left in the staff room or behind the tills, and it's amazing just how bad some of my co-workers' spelling, grammar and handwriting are, so I'll go out of my way to rewrite the note in a readable style, with corrections to spelling and grammar, I see it as helping them, yet everyone always complains about it, and I've even had a warning from my manager because apparently my "higher level of literacy" is offensive to them... how is that even a thing?!
