There is no point in believing. Either you accept it or you believe something else.

I dont understand why in the US, people seem to think if you believe in evolution you cant be christian.

Yes, there is more than enough scientific evidence to conclude that Evolution is indeed true.

I also believe in God (christian faith) and Intelligent design, just not the whole 7 days thing. In short, my belief on this is that God created the universe, as we know it, in such a way that through evolution Humans and likely other intelligent species on other planets in the universe were created.

Yep. Protestant Christians. Basically all that counts is the teachings of jesus from the new bible.

Alot of europe is christian and has no issues at all with accepting evolution theory.

When I say evolution, I mean the first vertebrate animals to homo sapiens. It doesn't matter to me if you do or don't, I'm simply curious. Feel free to post your feelings on why or why not. I would rather it steer clear of any unconstructive arguments. Please don't name call because someone doesn't agree with you. If you want to know more about why someone feels that way, ask them nicely.

Thank you, have a nice day!

No.  Unless it's been observed and tested in a controlled environment with consistant results, it's not science.  Not fact.  Now, we've seen variations of animals within a type (however you want to define it) of animal such as a variety of dogs or a variety of cattle, but no one has ever seen a dog turn into a cow.  The evolutionary theory doesn't dictate that cows came from dogs, but you get my principle here without havign to split hairs.  Are there mutations, yes.  But no one has seen an animal turn into another animal.  There are even too many gaps in the fossil records to support it as fact/science.  The fossil record is just "arranging stuff" based on paradigm.

That is not really true as to what Protestant faith is, but what you say does have a modicom of truth. But no reason to split hairs or start up a debate on this triviality.

I grew up Catholic and go to a Protestant church but no current religion fully covers my beleif structure. I cannot call myself agnostic because I do believe in the Holy Trinity, so in general I consider myself as Non-Demoninatioanl christian. I go to a Protestent church because it is the Christian faith that is closest to my beleifs.

^_^ we re pretty simular in that reguard.

Also Raistlin Majere is a badass :)

I don't exactly "believe" in evolution. I would say it's more something like "I accept the overwhelming amount of evidence that corroborate the theory, while open to evaluate other possible explanation as long as they come with enough data to support them "

Yes. I also believe in gravity, a spherical Earth and that the US spends more money on their military than any other country.

Point is, you don't have to believe. It just is.

OPEN your eyes, you have been fooled by the scientific communities lies and the worldwide conspirty. The earth is FLAT!
