2. No powerful hardware for their home consoles. Only gimmicks to excuse making cheap hardware for large cost. They struck it rich with Wii and have been doing it since. Even the GameCube had no DVDCD player, unlike PS2 and Xbox. Well, I'm not sure about Xbox with DVD's, but it could play CD's, I think. Plus Xbox was the most powerful of it's generation and had a hard drive.

It's ironic that you use the gamecube as an example, as it was more powerful (and cheaper) than the PS2 - and the DVD player was the gimmick.

The DVD player was no gimmick. It was useful to casuals and core alike. I don't remember the pricing exactly. I thought they were both priced around the same when GameCube came out. Both about $299, unless I'm mistaken. Correct me if I'm wrong. Oh, and you could play no music CD's either. The Sega CD and PC EngineTurbografx CD could do that. They were from two generations before.

Ummmm.....There is something called Common sense? Or did that cease to exist in people these days? 'A little greedy' is more closer to not being greedy than being all out greedy, so the statement you made there is completely false statement right there. If you didn't have the 'little' option all those people would've voted no.

Also......troll thread? Either that or I'm assuming you have no idea what you are saying. Or you are a Nintendo hater and tried to piss off a certain person for your own amusement. Please don't be  'that person'. Even if your ridiculous and objectively inferior opinions are something that you truly feel, please don't post them if you know  you will infuriate people.

You don't know what the others would have voted if I didn't give the 3rd option. I don't either. It could have went either way. Also, I did not insult you or any poster here. "ridiculous and objectively inferior opinions." There was no need for those insults.

I'm extremely sorry. My day wasn't going too well today, and Sometimes I flip out when I see an opinion that differs very much from mine. Again, my bad, and I'll make sure this never happens  again. If opinions weren't different, there wouldn't be a point being on any forums. Everyone is entitled to their own.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Regarding number 1, after all the complaining here in VGC, I thought that was an issue that was inherit in all the 3DS family. Was ready to give my nephew an old DSi charger I had with his new Pokemon Moon 2DS, but it already came with a charger.

Is it just the new 3DS which doesn't have the charger?

Either the New 3DS XL or both that and the old 3DS XL. I think that no product should be sold without an essential part though.

What your list could have been:

1. This is the worst. No power cord for 3DS XL. Sony and Microsoft havent made any mistakes as big as this...

2. No faulty hardware for their home consoles. Consoles that are made to last and often offer new ways to enjoy gaming like motion controls, goggle free 3D or HDrumble.

3. No droughts after launch for Switch. Nintendo offers one big game for Switch launch along several smaller ones and keeps on delivering great games through out the year, thus avoiding droughts.

4. No more support for Wii U. After Zelda, I think that is it for big titles. They are focusing on Switch and wont waste any recources on the console that failed miserably. More games for the Switch and less time used developing games for the dead system, Wii U.

5. I just read on here, in another forum post, no headphone jack for Switch. I used I minute of my life to check if it was true and quess what? It was not true :)

6. No Virtual Console at launch. Great! Nintendo confirmed that Switch was also getting at least some Nes games, that means vc will come, so Switch might get games from Nes, Snes, Nintendo 64, Neo Geo, Commodore 64, Game Cube, GB, GBA, DS,3DS....

7. No Metroid announced for Switch, but hinted at many times ;)

8. No more preorders for Switch at many locations. It is a good sign that at least there is some interest and demand for the new system and now Nintendo might realize to ramp up the production etc.

9. No to making enough Nes Minis to meet demand. Good to have this before the Switch, because now Nintendo might have more faith in the Switch and be better at matching demand.

10. No price cuts for 3DS or Wii U in a long time. At least something nice for those unlucky ones that bought Wii U at launch (a large chunk of those who have one) is that Wii U kept is value. For those that made the mistake of buying 3DS at lauch, before the huge pricecut, they luckily offered some free games to keep them satisifed, although as the system was succesful and got many good games they most likely were happy anyways.

11. No Nintendo Direct for Switch, but something even better, a large scale presentation, treehouse event etc.

12. No decent price for the pro controller and maybe 1,2 Switch. However Switch itself, most of its games and its online service are very affortable.

13. No pack in game! 1, 2 Switch could have been a pack in from what I've read, but that is depending whether the game is fun or not.

14. No hard drive for Switch. blaa blaa blaa

Um... I can't in good conscience paint such a rosy picture.

I gave Nintendo 250 million USD and they used 250 millions to be 50/50 in the development of the Switch (I'm a business angel and I will push Nintendo to the top even if the first try is a mistake, don't worry: if the Switch is a failure, Nintendo's next console will be the next PS5, I'm reacher that Bill gates and I loved Nintendo when I was a kid)). I had my saying, but it turned out that hardcore Nintendo fans are not happy, I still hope the casuals like it, polls are good on the Switch, and pre-orders are greater than for the Wii. I cross my fingers.

13. No pack in game! Next to having no power cord for 3DS XL, this is the worst. 1, 2 Switch would have been an ideal pack in from what I've read. A game to showcase what the Switch can do. No pack in game makes little sense even for Nintendo. That will bar some from even buying a Switch. Those that are poor will have little incentive to buy the switch when the $300 price tag is already high. Sony and MS offer more powerful consoles with a game at the same price.

14. No hard drive for Switch. Want to download Dragon Quest Heroes 1 and 2. Well too bad! It is a 32 gigabyte download. The same as the switch internal memory. Of course that internal memory won't be all free. Some will be used for the system. Even if it was all free, there would not be any space to save a game. I understand it's part portable, but couldn't they have gotten it up to 128 gigs? A lot can be stored on a tiny card now. Greedy again, Nintendo. I guess you can add the possible cost for an SD card to #12... (passes out again.)

(...)

So basically we should complain that the Switch isn't more powerful than the PS4, can't play blu-ray discs, doesn't come with a HDD and a pack-in game, while still fitting inside your pocket (imagine the outrage it would cause if people couldn't play all their games downloaded into the HDD on the go), have the same (or better) battery life and still sustain the same operating temperature, specially in handheld mode. All that whithout increasing its price, of course, because as you've said the $300 price tag is already high.

Sounds reasonable.

This is reasonable: Pack in 1,2 switch or a small preinstalled demo at least. Bumb up that internal storage to at least 40 gigs, so that you can download Dragon Quest 1 and 2 or pack in an SD card big enough to fit it. Make a cheaper pro controller for half the price, for budget constrained people. Keep the very expensive one for those that have the extra cash.

Is this a joke thread. Also the switch has a headphone jack have you never even watched a switch video you can clearly see the jack in like almost every video

Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also
