The beast is now over 14m retail on ps4 after the end of 2016. I expect it to hit 17m+ this year and 20m+ after 2018. This sku is a monster and it won't stop.

Rockstar generally take their time with things like that and do it properly rather then rush it out.  If it happens it will probably be announced at E3. They've already stopped updating ps3/360 versions.  Soon they'll stopping character transfer from ps3 to ps4.  Next they might take down the last gen servers all together. So hopefully they do a Pro patch with the extra resources available.  

 

This and rocket league are the two games I want a Pro patch for.  at least RL is rumoured.
