Microsoft screwed up BADLY.  There is an error in the install that can cause Blue Screens during start-up and makes the OS crawl slower then XP Service Pack 1.

This error caused an XML glitch I cant figure out how to fix.  I had to install a new chat program, Pidgin, to use AIM/MSN because of this error affected Trillian.  Anyone have a clue how to fix this, Trillian is 100% better and cleaner.

How the heck did M$ screw up their 8 year old OS?  I seriously underestimated their stupidty.  They have complete idiots programming for them.

Edit:  btw RC1 v3300 works  great, I suggest you to install it.

Well I still use SP1, never actually thought of upgrading.

 there is still no reason why a RC Refresh that should be near final code to have this severe of a problem considering v3300 works 100%

The difficulties with windows and patching it is the millions of different configurations that could possibly happen. For instance, Im running XP on a laptop that apparently doesnt support it (Only supports Vista).
But thanks for the heads up.
Microsoft does have very good software practices,.. they just dont seem to work all the time.

edit : as for help, microsoft do tend to have pretty good forums, used them for development purposes all the time, unfortunatly the only way for me to help you is to make the problem happen to me, tried safe mode? anyway to remove it? failing that, format, reinstall. 

This is not good ssj12 so stick with Windows XP Service Pack 2. What about upgrade to Windows Vista?

@Rock_on_2008, many people don't want Vista. XP does everything I need.

I'm still using SP2 and from the looks of this new update, I think I'll stay! No need for Vista as well.
