I'm positive Rocket League will launch on Nintendo Switch sometime later this year, handheld rocket league could sell too much to not put it out, especially given the Switch hardware shouldn't have any problem running the game...

That'd be amazing. Game is fun as hell, and it'd be the first portable RL,so I could play in friends'. Make it happen!

Playing it anywhere via portable mode........ That could bring a lot of new players! Like look at Minecraft on the Vita in Japan!

It'd be a good idea to make the online cross platform like the PS4 and PC versions. If it doesn't sell too well then at least the people that bought it will still have people to play with online.

I wouldn't count on it. How would they get it to 144fps on the Switch?

Considering how much the Switch community and Rocket League community have been asking for this I cant see this not happening. If it makes 2017 it could just be GOTY for 3 years running

It makes all the sense in the world, for both parties. I already own the game on PS4 but I'd double-dip, especially for a physical copy.

If I were Nintendo I would partner and let them use Nintendo IPs.
