Yeah i noticed... lol. Was thinking of whoever made the 'prediction' of ps3 selling 125k each week for a year. I used to see a lot more of him in those days.

Still, a lot of good people left in those years. Lurking isn't as interesting anymore.

Oh yes, those 3 too, especially Dogs_Rule for me. We had many great members in the early days (and quite a few not so great ones, at least one was mentioned already in this thread).

How did you manage to come back anyway? Hadn't ioi permabanned you ages ago?

During 2008 or 2009 a coding issue arised that freed all permabanned members. Since ioi didn't want to make the effort to ban them all again one by one, he announced that those previously permabanned members should see it as a second chance. Of course, most of those users wouldn't even know that their accounts are alive again, so the potential damage was greatly limited.

In this case though, he posted for 3 years under the name GameChaserBE and he was allowed to go back to his old account last year.

Well not in my case.     I got unbanned last year because we have a thread where people takes numbers from Amazon seriously, we have people who openly admit to use adblocker, sales numbers getting randomly update, basically the site and the forum already went to hell so they unbanned me.
