Forums - Gaming Discussion - Activision's recent takedowns and steam install quesion

Recently their Spiderman and TMNT games were taken off of virtual salesplaces. Any idea if this trend will continue?

I ask mostly because I am interested in getting the Transformers games at some point, and I'd prefer they not vanish on me. Also, if I game is taken off the steam market, for example, but I have not installed it yet, would that be affected by a removal from steam?

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Afaik, if you bought the game on steam, you will get to keep it regardless of whether or not it gets removed from the store.

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Trend will continue as their use of the license for said games expires.
