Forums - General Discussion - Taiwan students cosplay as Nazis in school anniversary

Lmao leave it to the Asians to do something funny like this.
On the other note it's scary how they are disconnected from rest of the world.
And oh yeah doesn't Swastika have some sort of connection to their Religions or something like that.

Half of Asia cry if the Japanese Prime Minister visit a temple honoring the dead Japanese soldiers. But let's celebrate Hitler, nothing wrong with that...

The Man in the High Castle is a good show. Probably paying homage to that show and putting a play on this alternate reality. Nice cosplay kids!!!!

You know what draws my eye in that photo though? It ain't the Nazi fandom. Dat chick in pink in the background to the right. Nice legs! 😍

Yup, freedom of speech. Make sure you do it in front of the Whitehouse for better effect. 😛

Course you can. You can do whatever you like.

Fantastic cosplay not often seen.

that's awesome. I remember when prince harry dressed as a wehrmacht officer for fancy dres He looked great

How did ww2 affect taiwan? At least here in chile we make some nazi jokes since it didn't affect us. Still nazism it's a no-no for almost everyone and it was a big deal when a guy tried to make a "nazi school"

I think people have to consider that taboo topics vary a lot in different cultures and countries (btw the tank is cool)

That's because the "evil side" (make no mistake, they absolutely commited several grave atrocities) of the asian part of WW2 was Japan and not the Nazis.

Obviously it's ironic they kinda respect Hitler/Nazis considering he/they would think of east-asian people as "subhuman" and work or gas them to death. Even the alliance with Japan was out of convinience (as Japan had already started fighting with several asian nations and the Udssr) and not out of respect.
