To people who played the game, who do you think refers the title to?

The Boy?

The Creature?

someone else entirely?

What are they the last of and what were they guarding?

It could refer to the second creature. It was actually guarding the nest and the only one of its kind (wingless)

It might even refer to the master of the valley.

Or the title was just a means to subvert your expectations and surprise you in the end.

That question was ALWAYS relevant from the first reveal of the game. Now it's just the time to discuss it.

The OP is asking questions, he doesnt even know lol and is only assuming by mentioning random characters.

I have no idea how the title could be a spoiler unless you didn't know that the game  was about a boy and a creature. Actually this question was discussed right after the first reveal of the games title.
