this is like the same movie remade for the 3rd time in likr 15 years ??

Around the Network

Flash Thompson is a 15yo kid in this movie and is probably gonna be in 1 scene and that's it.

Same movie? No.

Same character? Yes.

This interpretation is skipping the origin story and introducing Iron Man as a mentor.

I guess they chose Iron Man since they don't have the rights for the Fantastic Four, because in the comics he seems to be much closer to them.

Civil War in the comics had Iron Man and Spider-Man with a similar relationship leading to the Iron Spider.

I do agree would love to see Spider-Man interact with old freinds like Johnny Storm or Daredevil.

Yeah, though that screws things up a little because Parker has been Spider-Man for years during the civil war storyline, and Spider-Man reveals his secret identity, but it looks like in the movie he is still 15 and his identity is a secret.

Thor: Ragnarok is supposed to have "Planet Hulk" elements so there is hope.

My only issue with this trailer is the bit where he's holding the ship together at the end... I mean jesus that's some hulk/superman level shit.

That would require a RIDICULOUS amount of strength, Spider-Man ain't meant to be THAT phsyically strong.

In times of extreme stress, Spider-man has consistently shown to be much stronger than he should be.

Eh... not exactly.  In the early comics, he was much closer to the Fantastic Four, and Human Torch is basically his super hero bff.  In the later years (around the time of Civil War) he joined the Avengers and developed a student/mentor or father/son dynamic with Iron Man.  He remained closer with him, although he did join the Fantastic Four for a period of time.  Then One More Day happened and now it's all weird and he hates Iron Man.

That explains how he could stop that runaway train in Spider-Man 2.

Also, live-action Vulture looks downright badass.
