Based on their (Adobe's) report, Microsoft Xbox was among the five top-selling electronic products on Black Friday. And since PS4 was not on the top five list, we can assume that Xbox One sales surpassed PS4 sales on the Black Friday day. But for the entire season so far (Nov. 1 – 24), PlayStation 4 is the best-selling video game console, followed by Microsoft Xbox One. PS4 is leading the overall sales of November because their next generation console PS4 Pro went on sale earlier this month. Microsoft’s next generation console “Project Scorpio” is coming next year with support for true 4K games and VR.
Remember that the above is online only. It still appears likely that the PS4 will defeat the Xbox One in the USA in November, mainly off the back of a new piece of hardware. Still, perhaps not the trouncing some had thought likely.
