Forums - Gaming Discussion - Titanfall campaign my review - no spoiler

Well I just finished playing through the campaign and boy was this amazing. I wish it would have been longer. For some reason I stopped gaming for a few years, got bored with single player campaign and my favorite last gen was Uncharted 2 for its story and action. I even stopped playing Uncharted 4 lol.

Titanfall 2 is the new thing this gen but I have to say the graphics are not as good as some other games for this gen(gears 4, uncharted 4, BF1) but still good. That being said the controls mechanics are pretty amazing and my favorite in any shooters. When I first got that test run at the beginning it felt like something totally new and well made. The sound is good and gives weight to the action that is happening, I love that you can hear enemies talking during battles, especially during boss fights. The campaign starts pretty flat, if it wasn't for the gameplay being so good I would have been bored but its after about half done in the campaign that things really picks up and gets really interesting. The level designs are pretty fantastic and unlike anything I've played in a fps. Your relationship with your Titan kinda builds up throughout the game with funny comments etc. The character of your Titan is just so well made and feels fresh and different and at some point you kinda start liking that Titan.

After half of it that's when it really starts to pickup and shine, from bouncing wall to wall doing all kinds of different stuff and always something new happening. The action on screen combined with the great gameplay as well as the awesomely designed stages really stood out. Towards the end of the game it picks up even more and I can say that this campaign while short is most likely one of my favorite in a while. It really gave me a lasting impression and moved me in some ways that others didn't, oh and it kept me interested. This is one of the few campaigns that I will play through again and probably a couple of times and I don't normally do that except for a mario game ;)

All in all one of my favorite campaign that I have ever played too bad its short but its so well made that its totally worth it. One word to describe my experience, breathtaking.

Good review. I was pretty surprised how much I enjoyed it. I just got the platinum trophy for it. "Becomes the Master" trophy was a bitch.

When I played Titanfall I thought "this is so amazing, I wish it had a single player campaing", cause it was a so well made world and game.
I am happy with this review, will probably check it out when the price drops.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.
